A gorgeous one day picnic spot with an eco-friendly purpose, Meher Retreat makes for a unique travel experience for those who want to escape the hectic city life.
The vegetables and cereals and most of the ingredients used in preparation of food are grown in our own farm. Spices and pickle are made inhouse.
The milk is used from our own dairy farm.
We serve unlimited Sugarcane Juice throughout the day. We use sugarcane from our farm and Solar Power is used to run sugarcane crushing machine.
Yawat is just 42 km from Pune and blessed with a naturally beautiful ambience. It also is surrounded by picturesque points that are worth visiting.
The temple is located at a distance of 25 km from Pune at Theur. The mythological reference is that Morya Gosavi went under meditation and attained siddhi and his son constructed this temple to commemorate the event. It is one of the Astavinayak pilgrimage.
An ancient temple of Lord Shiva which dates back to 13th century and the ancient carvings are simply majestic. The entire structure has an aura of purity. The place is just 10 km off road on Solapur highway from Yawat and worth visiting at least once, when you are in the nearby vicinity.
It is one of important place of datta sampradaya, where Narayan majharaj, one of the satgurus of Avatar Meher baba spent his lifetime in meditation.
Satguru Narayan Maharaj, being the satguru of Avatar Meher baba, pilgrims from all over the world visiting Meher baba's Samadhi at Meherabad also visit this place.
Bet Kedgaon is unique and picturesque along with an aura of pure mediation to give a feel of calmness.
It is one of the largest water bodies near Yawat and a great destination as the banks of the lake are often habituated by variety of local as well as migratory birds and the on the banks is a lovely temple of local deity – Mhatoba. The place is just adjoining to Meher Retreat.
